Eggplant experiment'o:

I did a little eggplant, tomatoes, basil and olive oil on whole wheat pasta….so good

Also some baked eggplant yum……

INGREDIENTS
* 1 large eggplant
* 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
* salt and pepper to taste
* 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice


DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
2. Slice the eggplant in half lengthwise, then cut each half into quarters lengthwise. Cut each of those in half to make two shorter quarters. Place the eggplant onto the baking sheet with the skin side down. Brush each piece with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
3. Roast in the preheated oven until softened and golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with lemon juice. Serve hot.

Knitting:

I did it! I finely, acutely finished a knitting project, YES! It looks awesome and I am sooo happy that Jaime loved it….that made my day.

Proof is in the pudding right so here you go.

The Phillips Family:

A family of 11 brothers, sisters, kids and such…they were fantastic! They are giving Mom and Dad a photo of all the kids and grandkids for Christmas (what a great idea) I only posted one photo of them all, as to not give everything away. In all it was fun, the kids listened to every word I said, and so did the adults lol….Seriously they were all great and I had a wonderful time, thanks guys I hope you enjoy the family heirloom that we created for your Mom and Dad.

The Mart:

I went to go to the mart this past Saturday…..ooo I love the mart!!! I worked with Elaine an amazing designer, painter and all around enjoyable person. Her show room Your Fairy Godmothers is soooo cute if your at the mart you need to stop by or visit her website.

By the way does that photo in her window look familiar??? Yeah Frances Elizabeth Originals shows in her showroom as well.

The few at the end are some shots taken inside the mart, I just love the architecture of the building…I can’t help my self!

Abby and Nick

Abby and Nick were super shy, it wasn’t until about half way threw the shoot that they got really comfortable in front of the camera but once they did they were so natural.

You can tell they are a sweet couple, he was the strong silent type just like my husband and Abby is just sweet and beautiful.

They will be getting married next year and I can’t wait, they make a beautiful couple.

5 days and counting:

So it's five days and counting until I fly to London.....what I need to start packing, do I even know where my passport is?

Today:

So today has been great! . I have helped A reassemble my music box and it works...Amazing. I did some knitting, it's coming along.

I have been super productive and am working on posting some new and exciting things so keep checking back I have like four things to post today.

In all It seems like I am scooting along so I decided to post all about me.

I am....... a loving wife, a fun mother, a awesome sister, a loyal friend, a rock star photographer, and all around fun chick

I want........to get out and do something but it’s raining…

I have.......a great family and the best job in the world

I wish........that my pre-preggo jeans would fit

I know.........I have issues

I hate........when my food touches (see I know)

I fear.......... loosing this amazing life that I have right now

I hear........... the rain on my windows

I crave............sushi yummy

I search.......... for the strength not to loose it when A dismantles my music box

I always......... love girl’s night

I usually......... brush my teeth 5 times a day

I am not.......... the world’s best speller

I miss........... Jaime and she hasn’t moved yet

I love......... movie and junk food night, dancing around the house, and singing really loud and badly

I never.......... clean my desk….but I should

I rarely........get to spend time with my hard working hubby

I cry............ at everything….seriously

I am not always........ dressed well. I try, but fall short

I lose........... all my money and sanity when I go junkin

I am confused........ about a lot of stuff don’t get me started

I need.............. a massage and a pedi and I new photo of me this one is seriously creepy…lol

I should.......... CLEAN THE HOUSE but I’m not

I worry............that my child will grow up to be like me…be like your father he’s awesome

I dream..........of living on a island and swimming everyday

In 1776 our country was founded, It was not until 1920 that women were granted the right to vote. It is because of woman like these and the struggles of the suffrage movement that made it possible for you to have the right to voice who you think should be our next president.

So use what your great granny gave you and vote!

Still Sick:

So for the past week I have been sick, not debilitating sick just annoying sick so this morning I woke up and…..no voice. I have a client meeting in a few hours so how is that going to work? Well anyway I decided it was time to bring out the big guns to fight this cold.

Vanilla Chi Tea….yes with just a spoon full of organic sugar yummy I love chi it’s my pick me up when I am in a slump and right now with a runny nose and no voice I need a pick me up for sure!

So who’s on top of the world?

Well I guess they guys at the local Chinese restaurant thinks it’s me!

Fun at the Fair:

Our entire family minus my sis, who we missed desperately on the tilt-a-whirl, went to our local fair. I have always loved the fair…ok yeah not something most people say, but from the moment that I road the Himalayan with the wind rushing thru my heavily teased hair and the sound of Guns-N-Roses in my ears I have loved the fair lol...

It was a blast seeing my little one laugh and scream on ride after ride. I have to say she is a little dare devil and keep picking ever more dangerous rides to go on.

Most importantly we pigged out on corn dogs, candy apples and cotton candy too!

Blogtastical:

What a blogtastical day!
Is blogtastical a word, I think not. But now that I have used it maybe it will catch on. I have so much to blog about it's sick, so here are so I go.....

Art Work:

Ok so most of you know I have been a fine artist for over 12 years now, so it’s totally in my blood. I work on projects every week….
ok yeah creating homework for myself I know, but I love it.

So I am now getting ready to post them for sale!
What I can hear all my friends and family say. Yes that’s right I never sale anything it’s all to precious and personal to me but at this time in my life I am ready.

Ready to let go and share my gifts with others. So a limited number of fine art photography prints will be available to purchase here are just a few and my gallery of images should be up and running soon. I will keep you posted.
