Sean + Robin

Sean and Robin are one of the sweetest couples that I have ever worked with, they have a true love for one another and I think that's what makes me like them so much. Their wedding day was flawless and the bridal party of 18 were amazing. Everyone was so much fun and so easy going that no mater what crazy things I asked them to do. I had a great time with everyone, thank you so much friends, family and most of all Sean and Robin!

my dream studio:

I am finally at the stage of decorating my studio so for five months I have been scouring design books, magazines, internet and blogs for inspiration. I think I have finally decided on a style...maybe.
Well to be honest I haven't come to a decision at all.

Looking at tons of designs I begun to have a little studio envy. Don't get me wrong my studio space is large, great and beautiful, but I long for a light filled cottage. Maybe asking for a stone bridge, charming thatched cottage set in the woods is a little much to ask. YA THINK!?!? A girl can dream and being a painter fuels the delusion that I live in a European village. It comes down to I can't have a cottage in the woods, because I live in the burbs..but I have an awesome space so I should make the most of it.
So how do I fuse my love of modern with a want for dreamy cottage?

I'm not sure but I'll keep you posted on how it goes and show you some images when it's done.

me and my crew:

With the launch of the new site I needed a new photo so my assistant Jodie and I went out and had some fun shooting. Besides the fifteen year old screaming "your hot" our shoot was relativity uneventful. Except for the fact that I proved to Jodie that I can indeed take a photo while rolling....don't ask but the proof is the 2nd photo of Jodie.
I think Jodie did a great job on my photos so I want to give her a big thank you and

introduce you to her. She is a fixture here and most of you know her but I thought I would take the time to give her a face on the blog. She has been with me for almost a year and she is a talent and assets to the company. Thanks JoMo

for the love of shoping: personal

Jessie Askinazi over at the blog Morning Passages (who by the way always has quirky and fun inspirational images) posted a blog about this amazing coat from Hayden Harnetti the description reads
"There's just a dash of quirkiness in the otherwise polished Parker Canvas Trench. Lovingly called the "Inspector Gadget coat" "
I love this coat and it comes in the cutest navy blue, although I have to say this pebble color rocks. I can totally see myself in this, I need this...oh for the love of shopping!

Tim + Lori

I have had Tim and Lori's wedding booked for a year, I did an amazing e-shoot with them and laughed the whole time, they are so much fun. As the wedding day got closer I became so excited because I knew it was going to be a little emotional and a lot of fun!
As Lori was getting dressed she received a card from Tim as she started to read it I saw the emotion on her face, she was so touched by his words that I think everyone in the room burst into tears including me!
I love this couple, they are fun, energetic, and a hoot!
I enjoyed seeing the excitement on their faces as they became husband and wife, I loved watching and participating in the laughter and dancing at the reception.

It was a beautiful wedding and an amazing reception!

Thank you to all the great bridesmaids, groomsmen, family and friends but most of all thank you Tim and Lori you guys are the best!

in the zone:

In collage I created a sculpture that long story short got me a A in class and was life size!!
So big in fact that I was only able to keep a part of the internal structure. It was a sculpture of the human body and the internal structure was made of strange parts...hey it was art school I could do that!
Well the heart was made of handmaid barbwire with a cute little monkey perched in the middle. Ok,Ok no I was not insane it has to do with inner angst...in the form of a CUTE little monkey lol.
Anyway today I was cleaning the basement and I stumbled across the cute little guy so I ran to the studio and here you go.

I call it monkey lol....but you can just call me crazy!
