Jennifer and Mathew 7.30.07

Today I visited Vecoma for the first time you may be wondering because it was my first time there did I get lost. Well lets just say that map quest and I must not be on the same map! But luckily Jennifer’s father was gracious enough to guide me in so being a little early is never a bad thing. I have a rule of thumb if I have never been to a venue I always leave an hour early this is because map quest always lets me down! Oh well.
When I arrived it had just rained and there were clouds of steam rising off of the pavement I made for a steamy shoot but it gave us as Jennifer’s father said ambiance.

Both Jennifer and Mathew were great, I had not seen them in very long time so it was like getting to know them all over again. I am looking forward to capturing every great moment of their wedding.

My small getaway….. 7.18.07

The fam and I snuck away for a mini vacation to West Jefferson North Carolina.

What a great little place we stayed at a friends mountain house that has it’s own dam and power plant how amazing!!!! It was only for two days but things have been so crazy in a great way,
but I needed a little break.

We walked in the river and watched some guys fish and were introduced to some cows up close and personal, we even went four wheeling to the top of a mountain, well in GA we call any small hill a mountain (that’s for all my friends in Utah) oh you know I loved it, anything with wheels! We road to the top of a mountain and walked thru an old cemetery, thru a pine forest as we went down, thru a field of daises and a great stream. The stream is where I managed to pull the four wheeler up on two wheels Luke said “I wish I had a camera, the look on your face was so funny” he is referring to my tom boy oh yea I did it face.

It was great hard to leave but nice to come home and back to work :)

7.21.07 Jennifer+Jonathan

I am sure that you remember Jessica and Jeffery on 6.9.07 well this is Jeffery’s brother Jonathan and his beautiful bride Jennifer. This is the second time that I have worked with the same family and I adore them! I look forward to working with them in the future as their family’s grow.

The ceremony was so sweet and had the whole congregation in tears, it was very tender and sweet.

The little girls kept their eyes glued to the bride the entire time it was so cute to see these future brides looking up at her.

Leaving the chapel it was like the best moment of their life’s and it was written all over their faces.

Jennifer and Jonathan are such a sweet couple, the second time that I cry at a wedding and it’s theirs what’s up with me and this family? I could hardly take photos when Jen looked at me and said with this beautiful excitement “I’m married” I just lost it.

By every movement and motion you could see the joy and excitement.

The whole afternoon was like a story being written, you can see the happiness on his face.

Thank you for letting me capture every moment!

7.14.07 Christina + David

This was my first time at the Prospect House and it was a very sweet place, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great!

I wanted to say a quick thank you to Jessica and her mom both friends of the bride did the flowers they were beautiful!!!

The girls were so cute, sassy and funny!!! Things happened at this wedding that will more than likely never happen again….

sorry can’t post those photos of the bridesmaids but lets just say all the groomsmen want copies. ;)

I loved seeing David’s strong hands holding these delicate looking bands.

Their ceremony was beautiful this little peak around his grandmothers shoulder touched me, how sweet.

Christina was a stunning bride, her dress was just beautiful. David and his frat brothers well they are frat boys and that means lots of fun and laughter!

7.7.07 Laurie + Michael

What a beautiful black tie event. The ceremony held at the Regimental Chapel of Fort Benning and the reception at the Officers Club, it was my first time well in a long time to be on Fort Benning. Let me just say it’s like its own little town and I got lost more than once. I am luck I made it out!

The Wedding was a beautiful traditional ceremony and you see the happiness on their faces.

Singing to her groom, Laurie was so funny!

This couple was so much fun, they were so happy and so silly, you would think that there would be a huge cake smash at the end of this but no she successfully dodged that one.

The kids (and the adults) at this event were so cute they just had a blast dancing the night away.

OK she looks familiar its because if you scroll down you can view her bridal shoot.

7.6.07 Kim+Herman

I really enjoyed being part of Kim and Herman’s big day. It stared with the funniest “getting ready” ever, Kim, her mother, grandmother and friend were so much fun they made me constantly laugh!

Kim and Herman are so sweet to each other, being part of their wedding just maid my day.

I just love this shot she is so beautiful!!!!

The reception, held at the Michael C. Carlos Museum on the Emory campus was amazing and beautiful but most of all romantic….

Starting simple and sweet with beautiful toasts it quickly turned into a fantastic celebration!!! The dancing was so much fun to bad I had my camera ;)

6.29.07

Sorry for the delay on posts but I have been so busy, I will try to update over the next few days so keep your eyes open ;)
I worked with Kelly, Jacques, and their beautiful children Mario, Antonio, Jordan and little Justin. I can truly say that they are friends, It was a intimate and touching ceremony Kelly and Jacques are such loving and genuine people they made me feel right at home I even got hugs as everyone was leaving, it was fantastic! I have so many photos to post but I am trying to refrain.
We spent lots of time with the hair and makeup guys and to be honest I have never worked with such a fun bunch it was lots of laughs and a very relaxed environment.
Kelly is such a stunning bride with her daughter Jordan this is one of my favorite photographs.
Little Justin was pulled in a wagon, this photo this is his grandmother the grooms mother Esther sprinkling the flower petals in the wagon with him.
The ceremony was located on the grounds and as I stepped outside to wait for the bridal party to enter I captured Jordan peeking and giggling at the guest as they arrived. How cute!
It was the first time that I have had the pleasure to shoot at Chateau Élan and the staff are amazing I have never been treated so well at a venue, I can only imagine if I were a guest! I highly recommend them.
