Kellie + Matt+ Aubie = one great e-shoot

The perfect day...we had originally scheduled for last weekend but the rain was just to heavy, we ended up rescheduling for the perfect weather. Matt and Kellie were so much fun they did just about anything I asked without any questions...you guys should probably question me more lol. Aubie is soooo cute, I just laughed at some of her images the look on her face is so sweet. Thanks guys for a great day!

Stephanie & Bobby

The weather was great and so was the company I had a great time with Stephanie and Bobby we hiked and even hit the quickie oil change place....you can get a great shot almost anywhere! I am so excited to show you both all the great images we got. Stephanie have a great trip and we can chat when you get back :)

Yeah flowers are pretty but can they be unrecognizable? Maybe.

As a painter I love abstract imagery and you know me it’s weekly project time! Here are a few images that are going to be printed on canvas for a local gallery. These flowers are from the wedding show that I did. Lara at Cameo Events and I was inspired to do something great with them. I guess this is great….lol well I think so.

Jennifer: The Funky Shack Art Studio

Jennifer is a very talented lady, she runs a business called The Funky Shack she creates the most beautiful handcrafted event décor perfect for your next party or great for tables at a wedding reception. As Jennifer reminded me they are great favors for your guest. Just think everyone’s place setting with a little thank you photo of the couple…how cute!
We had a great day just running around Senoia taking photos followed by a yummy lunch. Thanks so much Jennifer I had great time and I can’t wait to hang out with you again!

lovin my life:

I love creating art, from paintings to photos I love everything about the creative process. When I first decided to take on a career as an artist it was as a painter with my full time job being a jewelry designer.
You gotta make the money some how right!
I loved being a fine artist and relished every moment up to my elbows in paint. I had always shot film and spent lots of time in the dark room even winning a few awards for my photography work.
It wasn’t until my kiddo was born that I found my true calling. Now it’s like I have to have my camera near or I can’t breath. I love capturing random images and creating a piece of art it fulfills my life and I am lovin it!

I'm loosing it!

Well not in the way you may think from my expression in this photo!
I am proud to say that I have lost 12 pounds and working on 12 more. I getting closer and closer to my goal weight just 756 more jumps like this and I am there.

I am a self proclaimed yard sale junkie. I love finding vintage pieces and re-purposing them into something fabulous!! This weekend was by far a first, I finished a project piece in one day can you believe it. Here it is it's soooo cute!!

Skate Fever:

At girls night we got on the subject of roller skating, now in the late 80's early 90's I loved skating just as much as the next girl with puffy banged and a neon airbrushed Panama City sweatshirt... but It had not crossed my mind in years. Now all I keep thinking is "if I go skating on the street will people make fun of me?" I am very sure the answer is yes, but I think it may be worth the ridicule...

Inspired by color: White

I love color and white is my favorite, I know boring right...and wait that's not a color. I hear you thinking it. Believe it or not white is the reflection of all colors. This is what my training as a painter has gotten me...lol. My professor would be proud. Each week I set up a self imposed project and this week the project was white. Here are a few of my favorite white images so get inspired!

In my dreams:

In my dreams I find inspiration....at night my dreams take control of my mind and body. I fling around, roll, climb, walk, laugh and talk.

Boudoir Baby:

Our boudoir sessions have taken off, as of right now I a few images that I am keeping under wraps but here are a few that I can share with you. Sorry about keeping the first two images secret but…the their wedding's haven't happened yet so shhhhhh.

Let it snow:

In the south you get snow once a year if your lucky and this year boy were we, well for a few hours….and then it turned to slush! It was the day of my birthday party so the trek to see my family was a slippery one.
It was nothing but mud and slush on the way home but it was beautiful while it lasted.
