Thankful:

With it being thanksgiving I was thinking about all of the big things that I am thankful for, then I began to think what are the small things that I am thankful for?

So for you guys here is a list of the small things in life that I am grateful for:

1:The way my daughter laughs when she knows she’s in trouble; it’s the sweetest little nervous laugh, because she knows if she gets me to laugh she’s off the hook.

2: My husbands’ kind nature, when he comes home late he always calls to see if I want him to pick up food.

3: The way my cat comes in and puts her noise in my face every morning at 6:00 sharp to be sure she gets breakfast.

4: The way my dog looks at me when I eat a sandwich; as if she has never had food in her life.

5: That God has blessed me with the most amazing family, friends and job in the world. I love my family, my friends and the couples, children and families that I get to meet each day.

I am grateful everyday; but today I get to tell you all how much!

I wish you all a very happy and thankful thanksgiving.

Wrong Song Wednesday…wait Thursday:

So yeah I have been waiting to post the wrong song of the week only because I had found out that one of my fav singers from back in the day was going to be in the Macy’s day parade.
Just in case you missed it here he is singing the same great hit he did in the parade minus the sooooo bad lip sinking but you have to love him! Lol….enjoy!

Not knowing your limitations:

In high school my friends mother worked with physically and mentally challenged children. I always went by to say hello to Mrs. T and was soon introduced to; we’ll just call him Jon. At the age of twelve Jon was hit by a semi truck and suffered mental and physically impairment, leaving him with little speech and restricted movement.

One thing that was not impaired was his love of people, most of all cute girls. He always blushed and said hello in his own way as I entered the room. One day Mrs. T came to my English class and asked to see me, we went from room to room grabbing all the "regulars" that would come and say hi. She brought us all to her room and said Jon has something to show you.
I remember that moment clearly because it changed my life forever.

Jon had crutches attached to his arms and stood up from his wheelchair and with help, that day he took three very small steps.

You see, as I looked at Jon I could see his mental and physical limitations; but Jon could not. He was completely unaware that the doctors said that he would never walk again; in his mind he could do anything.

Tonight I was reminded of this story and just as the tears streamed down my face when he took those small steps, they do now. So many times we limit ourselves by what we think we can't do.

It is only when we don’t limit ourselves that our small steps become giant leaps.

Robin and Sean:

The weather for our e-shoot was perfect not to cold, the leaves were beautiful and the light just right. I started out working with Robin and Sean getting them familiar with the feel of being in front of the camera.
For me it’s always been hard to be in front of the camera not behind it so I know how hard it can be at times to “act natural” but to tell you the truth after a few minutes it was so easy to work with them.
We had a great time just getting to know each other and I am so excited to be working with them on their wedding day, thanks guys!

BTW lots of kissing shots...I think they're great!

I missed my cheesy song Wednesday:

Why you may ask….
well, I don't have a good excuse but I have been working on photos and getting ready for a wedding tomorrow.

So to make up for missing my usual post I pulled this from my personal archives. I love this song and as winter approaches I need a little summer sunshine in my life right now so have fun, you’ll be singing the rest of the day.

Lots more to come:

I have tons of things to post Robin and Sean’s E-shoot is coming soon and then a cute kids shoot to post , busy, busy, busy….

Happy, Happy Birthday:

A very happy Birthday to my little one!!!

We had an awesome birthday party with homemade cupcakes with real butter cream icing and the cutest favors you have ever seen. Little mini marshmallow cupcakes on sticks sooo cute; yes I can cook but only a little. All the kids had a great time even if it was a little cold, well freezing.

Go figure the one year we do an outside birthday party because it’s unseasonably warm, a cold front moves in the day before. Oh well at least it didn’t rain!

The Co-op:

I just wanted to show you guys the amazing basket I got from the co-op this week. All the fresh fruits and veggies for twenty bucks, if you are interested in joining the co-op contact me and I will give you all the info.

Update on Keke kitty:

I just wanted to let everyone know that my Keke kitty is doing better, she had been in a bad fight and had a few large abscesses all along her back and sides. Luckily they cleaned them and she started her on some antibiotics and she is feeling better. Thanks guys for all the well wishes.

The reason I know she’s better is because she came in and knocked the contents of my bed side table to the floor at 6 am this morning….that’s the thanks I get?

Ashley + Brandon

Wow that was a hard wedding to edit, not because I didn’t have any good photos but because I had so many awesome ones!

I had a great time with Ashley and Brandon during their E-Shoot so I knew the wedding would be amazing and it was better than I could have imagined. The day was beautiful and the family and bridal party were so great!

I want to say thanks to my new assistant Jodie for all of her hard work, you did a great job.

I had a hard time deciding on what photos to post so here you go a hand full to view, I love them all. Thanks guys for a fantastic day! Enjoy the slide show.
