I love etsy! I shop and list on etsy and usually find the most beautiful things so when I found Amanda Archer I couldn’t wait to feature her. I just love the natural feel, girlie but modern and as she describes it classic style with a twist of retro and a pinch of whimsy.

what a hoot:

The girls and i hit and estate sale yesterday and it was a hoot, literally!

I have never in my life seen such an owl collection, and it was all for sale.
Here are only two little guys of her massive collection, so cool I....well Tiffin found them and for some reason gave them to me, I'm so lucky to have her as a friend and it's just an awesome bonus that
she has such great taste!

all in a day's work:

Every week I pick a new project this week was a little different, I used a few vintage camera modifications with my digital to work on some images as well as my digital camera and my new lenses and new lighting equipment to work on a few images for this week.

For me photography and art in general is all about experimenting and my weekly projects help me refine techniques and use equipment in new ways. I love seeing what works and what doesn't every week I try to learn something new!

I've been thinking...thinking about what my beloved dog Ginger does all day long. I wounder if she thinks about chasing squirrels, laying in the sun, sniffing things or visiting her friend, a little Yorkie that lives up the street.

Watching her yesterday this is what I've figured out.

1: she sleeps 60% of her day
2: she eats 30% of her day
3: she looks at me with her big brown eyes that softly say "don't you want to give me a treat" the other 10% of the day.

In all her day is filled with fun activities that only a lazy dog could love.
