We Built A House:

Well kind of we mostly just ate the candy with mouths full of icing.
This was our first gingerbread house and it was so much fun that from now on it will be a family tradition.
We all love to cook so it was a great excuse to mess up the kitchen and ourselves!

What A Busy Week!!

Monday I will be delivering the last of our Christmas orders so if you have an order

I will be taking Tuesday - Friday off for the holidays, I will be back at work shooting some amazing weddings on the 27th and the 2nd what a great way to start the
New Year.

The new year is quickly coming up and 2009 is filling much quicker than I had anticipated, we have lots of changes coming up and I wanted to let potential brides know that if you are thinking of booking me for your upcoming wedding as of Jan 1st my pricing will be changing as a matter of fact increasing, don’t delay book today lol….that was so cheesy.

Girls Ornament Exchange:

Last weekend we had the most awesome girls night ornament exchange, as you can see my ornament was painstakingly crafted out of butterfly sequins and pushpins…talk about tedious.
We had a great time eating snacks, drinking yummy drinks and chatting the night away, I can’t wait for our next girls night!

What???

Who does this!! In my house this is the norm when it comes to the guest bathroom….is it the four year old? Is it the hubby?? I am guessing a combination of the two.

Ebony and Nathan:

What can I say but I love this couple!!! They are fantastic, I had a wonderful time laughing and learning about them both. Ebony and Nathan are amazing and we are going to have a great time at spring love shoot part deux....

Can cats only see yellow?

Ok the reason I ask is that ever since I painted the room yellow the cat only sleeps in that room,leaving me totally jealous. Well I guess it's time to paint our room yellow...

Wrong Song Wednesday:

I know that I haven’t posted on wrong song Wednesday for a while, well what can I say I have just been supper busy. Well no worries I got you guys this week, this one is the; you guessed it rain. I hope you enjoy it.

Ahead of the game…

I was talking to my mom about redoing A’s room.
Mom perked up to hear the details of the new design, as the words color scheme came out of my mouth she got all excited until I uttered; black, white and bright yellow.
Hu she said, well yeah that's the new look for her room.
I said I am thinking really fun black and white patterns with punches of yellow to make it pop, white curtains and bright yellow walls.

Well that sounds just plain ugly she said, my heart sank….do you think so?

After having the walls done I begun to think maybe she was right as I hear A screaming “ I like blue”not yellow....have I made a huge misjudgment, a design
faux pas?
Ummm am I totally off on this, I think until I was reaffirmed with the latest release for hot colors for spring 2009 from Pantone and yellow, as a matter of fact my custom yellow was first on the list. "designers in Italy and France have been working with yellow for sometime now"I must be ahead of my time….
and then A says “mom I think I like it!”

YES!!!

The Pistorius Family:

I got to spend a sunnyl but cold Tuesday morning with this beautiful family.
The first words out of little Drew’s mouth were “I’m cold” so we ran around and played to get him warmed up and I think it worked.
He is the cutest little guy. With cute dimples and a big “I’m having a little sister” when I asked if they were having a boy or girl, he is so excited about the new baby that he makes your heart melt.
Thanks guys for sharing a fun morning with me.
